Career Profile

I have more than twenty-six (26) years of experience in Information Technology development, mainly obtained in governmental and paragovernmental sectors. As a consultant, I worked for a dozen of Ministries and organisms, so I developed a good understanding of governmental information systems. Lately, I have been working in three major insurance companies.

The past twelve (12) years, I acted as a functional architect consultant, mainly in Web or client/server development and also in solution integration. In my last mandates, I was involved in preliminary analyses and I also conceived detailed architectures. I made sure that architecture went along with the optimized work process. Developments I have been involved with have been realized in different technologies : .Net, Java, Oracle, central, etc.). I have used UML notation and tools like: Entreprise Architect, Together Architect. I worked using several methodologies such as Macroscope, DMR Plus and others proprietary methodologies based on waterfall or agile approach. I am used to agile development approach and I obtained my Professional Scrum Master I certification last spring.

As part of my mandates, I also executed business domain tasks like the establishment of new management procedures, ROI calculations, … I acted in various roles like: project manager, team leader, acceptation test supervisor, … With ease, I work on small projects simultaneously or on large projects involving several teams (over 10 000 person-days).

I possess a good analytical capacity and adaptative power. I consider real important to well answer customers’ needs within time and budget and stands out for the quality of my work.
